Taking the form of the set of a fictional dirty picture, this solo exhibition recontextualizes various personal archives of pornography magazines and bootleg gay VHS tapes using experimental approaches to remove snippets of material, footage, and imagery. Imagined through a weathered blue billboard and the set of a dreamlike film, Dirty Picture delves into themes of fantasy, absence, personal narrative, gender and intergenerational queer identity.

F.U.E.L. ART SUPPLY DONATION DRIVE
Help us support Calgary’s artisitic community by donating new and lightly used art supplies to the F.U.E.L. (Free Utensils for Artistic Living) program! F.U.E.L. seeks to create access to art-making by redistributing donated art supplies to artists that can use them on a “take what you need, leave what you can” basis.
Donations can be dropped off at TRUCK, or at local participating businesses.
